K-ON!
I'm a little late on the scene but the current fad in Japan and us otaku right now is the new hit show K-ON! Already the show's opening song "Cagayake! GIRLS" has reached #2 in the Japanese charts. at a quick glance you can see that the show was animated by the same people who brought us Haruhi Suzumiya...

The End of Geocities
Not so much new news but as of recently, Yahoo, as part of their crazy restructuring will drop the free web hosting service, Geocities. Back in December till around March of 2002, I first posted this site on Geocities so I can thank my very start to the service. The offical release of Chuck's Anime...

C.A.S iPhone Webclip Icon
Just a little addition I did for the site in preparation for an iPhone/mobile friendly version of the site. I made an iPhone webclip icon for the homepage of your phone. It's from the picture I drew and looks a lot better on the iPhone/ iPod Touch springboard than the typical screenshot. So, if you...

Watch & Win NARUTO Shippuden
If some of you are not aware..which I doubt, Hulu.com features full episodes of Naruto. Actually as of a few days ago, Naruto was ranked #20 on Hulu; so a nice little cheviot for us anime fans in an increasingly neglected US TV media. If you all think free full episodes of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden...

Death Note Movies
Some of you might know that just recently some select US theaters got to see the Death Note: L Change the World live action flick. Without giving anything away, the movie is a different take on the ending of the series than how the manga or the anime concluded and for the most part, many fans enjoyed...

Danny Choo Nikon Commercial
Danny Choo is the person I can thank for reawakening my anime fandom that I somewhat strayed from between 2004 till almost all of 2006. His blog inspired me to start this one which shortly then lead me to run my anime figure business. Though I still currently work part time for Berger Brothers Camera...

E-Commerce Tax
Ok, so the economy has been doing bad. We can go on for hours on the causes, the culprits and the results of many of the actions taken. One action trying to be done will automatically prevent new jobs, destroy thousands of current ones and cause any type of recovery we see now to go out the window....

New TMNT Live Action Rumors
Anyone here fans of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action films from the early 90's? I didn't see the recent CG movie and apparently it wasn't enough to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our favorite pizza loving turtles. Still mostly hype but it's looking to be a solid project. It seems...

Anime Pic of The Day 4/25/09
Summer is coming soon and here in NY we are having one nice late April day. Enjoy a day out in the sun if you are lucky enough to have a good day. Try not to work too hard since there should always be those days where you do nothing at all.

The 20 Year Old Game Boy
20 years since the Game Boy came out? Man I feel old. I was 5 years old at the time in 1989 and I was already a gamer for 4 years soyep I indeed had one. I actually still have my original Game Boy, the odd long orange carry case (more of a reason I always refer to the 1980's as the 'awkward 80's')...

Lux Pain Review
Just recently I finished the Nintendo DS game, Lux Pain. The game was definitely something different. Depending on what type of gamer you are will determine a much different take on the game. Myself along with most of the readers of this blog will find this game more appealing than say a gamer who...

Anime IPhone Game, Abigale
Anime games are still a bit rare on the iPhone but they are slowly coming up in numbers. Well, this game in particular caught my eyes for two reasons. First off, its an anime game on the iPhone that has an anime girl as the main character. I downloaded Abigale which, by the way is by Japanese mobile...

Dragon Ball Kai
It's no joke that many anime fans have been horribly insulted by the Dragon Ball Evolution movie. Upset? Angry? Want 20th Century Fox to burn for all eternity?Well, relax and forget about the obvious insult to anime fans that Hollywood love to throw out and sadly..will continue to do.Just released...
