BusinessWeek has an article on Manwha
This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see a mainstream US publication like BusinessWeek devote a pretty long article to the topic of manwha. Perhaps the Korean comic craze is about to take off?

A crapload of Tranformers News!
The past 48 hours have brought a ton of news and excitement for all those looking forward to the Transformers movie release. I'll admit I was skeptical about Michael Bay's execution of one of the best cartoons of the 80s, but I take back everything I said. This movie is going to be awesome.

Detroit Free Press article on Faith-based manga-comics
The Detroit Free Press had an article today on two faith-based comics that are drawn in the manga style. While I'm all about people's right to express their religion artistically, the whole thing seems kind of weird to me.

Last night Adult Swim aired Blood+. I was a bit worried that they might butcher it or screw up the dub, but I have to say it was far better than I expected.

An interesting article on Anime-inspired students
The Journal News has an interesting article up about teachers' reaction to anime and manga and the effect they've had on their students. It's an interesting read that really made me think about some of the changes that we're seeing among America's young aspiring artists.
