Cartoon Network gets Miyazaki films
 Turner Classic Movies dedicated the month of January to legendary anime director Hayao Miyazaki. Now Cartoon Network (which is also part of the Turner family) will also be airing Miyazaki's works.

Live Action version of Kite in the works

Is there such a thing as American Manga?
 Gomanga.com, home of Seaven Seas Entertainment, has a number of comic series that are pretty obviously influenced by manga and anime art. Can we consider them to be manga though? Is manga just the animation style, or does a comic have to be produced in Japan to technically qualify as manga?

Loveless: Shounen-ai so wrong it has to be right
 In this post we'll review Loveless. Loveless is one of the few shonen-ai manga that has been adapted into an animated series. It's a well produced anime, with great art, great characterization, and a great soundtrack by Yuki Kajiura. The series as a whole is a tad bit disappointing
