Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
It is the year 1983 for a small, rural village called Hinamizawa in Japan. Keiichi is a boy who recently moved into Hinamizawa and he befriends four girls there. Each year the village holds the Watanagashi Festival, and for the past four years, one person would be murdered and another would be demoned away on that day... Will the cycle of tragedies be ended this year?

It turns out that it took me even more time to write this than the previous Simonu entry but I am inclined to blame the heat which had a very bad effect on me, epsecially combined with my general laziness. But this episode of Simoun is one of the best which spurred... | | |
| 12:00am | Higurashi no Naku Kori ni Ep09 | | | | Unlike the first two arcs, this episode starts with a non-violent scene. It's still gruesome enough for me to refrain from taking screencaps (I tried, but it was just too disgusting). Some Hinamizawa locals discover a rotting human body in a garbage bag. The body has broken limbs, the entrails are hanging... | | |
